Notes from the 7th month…..
* This will be named the month of contagion. Basically between pink eye, the flu and now recovering from an ear infection, baby K and mama have sorta been a mess.
*Despite all that, still the smiliest and per her teachers, the chillest baby around.
* Now and foreva a peanut. Only about 14 lbs 7 ounces these days. 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.
* Sitting up! Scooting backwards and rolling around! It’s too funny to turn around and realize that she’s found a way out of the room.
* Lots of babbling and bbbbb noises. No distinct babas or mamas but mama is prepared to DIE when this happens!
*Tickleish under her arm pits. Loves peek-a-boo (uki style of course). Other things that are her jam include all things lily, her bla bla kitten rattle and pretty much anything else she can shove in her mouth.
*Officially put away the swing on Sunday. I sad grown-up baby day here.
* High chair/solid food action moving right along. Up to 2 meals now with rice at school and veg or fruit in the evening. So far I’ve made all of the purees with the beaba (little machine of the gods). Loved carrots but the rest…really not much enthusiasm here. In fact she makes the craziest (like bad/i wanna gag) faces with the sweets. Also trying to start puffs but we’re ultra paranoid.
*Still nursing. Might as well get to the year at this point if I can. Hopefully the embarassingly full milk freezer will help us!
*Spitting up is now down to like once a day. We will take it.
