All caught up on GG
Since the holidays call for total work shut-down at this point, I spent the early evening catching up on several episodes of Gossip Girl. Basically the in-laws don’t have cable and we’re snowed in!
All I can say is…ewww…really S….Aaron? I don’t find him babelicious AT ALL. Plus he has a mini stash growing…so not cute!

Christmas cards complete
Since I have three days to basically make Christmas materialize (buy gifts, decorate, send out cards, pack, bake cookies for work people, etc), I decided to tackle the card writing tonight. I realize that only a hand-full of my twenty-something friends actually send cards but…I don’t care because:

Just a few more hours of working…then I’m driving up to Chicago for my flight which leaves tomorrow AM. Can you tell that I’m doing SUCH a great job concentrating on work? NOT! Can not wait for sunny Hawaii tomorrow. Pete’s there and says it’s the perfect combo of the best of California and the Caribbean. Sign me up!
IHOP monkeys
Watched 30 Rock tonight which just this season we realized is actually hilarious and I totally have a girl-crush on Tina Fey. The reunion was so funny because I realized that I’m surrounded by the characters they were depicting. Like the ex-prom queen that now has hair like a cockatiel bird and wears colored denim jackets. I think she lives next door to me.
A new Monday night tradition
Last night we went out for a pre-vaca date with $1 sushi rolls at K.O. Fusion in “downtown” Champaign.
